"Wanted to say a big thank you to the staff at Burton who were brilliant today.

I suffered a breakdown last evening which initially was responded to by the AA - after a 2 1/2 hour wait they thought the problem was no diesel which I did not actually believe - however putting more fuel in seemed to get me going - alas not very far - after 2 miles or so - same scenario loss of power engine would not restart, called the AA who arranged for a recovery to my home - arrived in at 02:45 this morning.

Problem is it is now Sunday and I need to be in Harrogate on business Monday by 09:00. Luckily I have another car - however it had not been on the road since October - although it is taxed and insured it had no MOT.

One call to the F1 at Burton and the staff there could not do more to help. They agreed to conduct an MOT this morning and enabled me to get my "spare" car on the road at very short notice. I now can meet my business commitments - but I do need to sort out my main car repairs!

So a really good customer care example from your friendly and professional staff - thanks very much.

"I would like to write in with a compliment on your London Road Garage, Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

I visited there a few weekends ago with my Silver Golf GTE for 2 new tyres, I was very impressed with the service I received from the manager who I can say was extremely helpful and very good. Also the man who put the tyres on, he was such a nice man and again was a pleasure to deal with. I walked away and I was extremely satisfied with the service I had received.

I then went back the following week with my husbands car for a health check and again the same 2 people were there to greet me and again were so helpful.

I am so pleased that in the 15 years I have been driving I have received such a great service from a garage and I will recommend them to everybody I know as I was so pleased.

I am going there tomorrow to see them for another job they advised me to get done and I know again I will walk away very happy.

I do hope that this feedback will be given to them as both of them deserve a massive pat on the back.

"I recently had the need to use your branch at Days Road, Bristol, for some work on my daughters' Ford Focus, a 1.8 Tdi. It was a "sudden failure" of the water pump and luckily, after speaking to Craig, he was able to look at it straight away.

The job then progressed to tensioner, belt and cam belt replacement, not easy jobs on the 1.8 Tdi.

However, although the job got worse as the day went on, (and so did the bill !!), the boys pressed on to finish the job that day (7:30 pm.), and once again I was very pleased with their efforts and level of service. This is not the first time they have solved a problem for me !!

It is very refreshing to find a business with a "can do " attitude rather than the "can't do " one so very common today.

I would certainly recommend them to anyone with car problems.

"I made my first visit to your branch at Hanley, Stoke on Trent ST1-3NF about 2 weeks ago for "wheel alignment" on my Nissan Micra, I would like to compliment this branch on the excellent service that I received, at an affordable price.

The staff were very polite and efficient and the job was carried out promptly as arranged. Their technical knowledge appeared first class, and the member of staff explained things to me in a clear and understandable way. I made a 2nd visit today to have my wheel alignment "checked", this visit also went smoothly. It is such a refreshing change to deal with such an efficient company, and I will certainly be using this branch in the future, and naturally recommend them to friends and colleagues.

"I feel compelled to contact you thank you for the excellent service received and your garage recently opened in Brentwood.

I initially booked in my car for an MOT due to the price being the lowest in the area,I found the staff very polite, helpful & efficient. I was seen promptly and my vehicle taken on time. The MOT was completed within the hour. As a result of the quality service received I booked my wife's car in for a MOT. The examiner met me in the car park, took my keys and promptly carried out the MOT, even though I had arrived early. Again the test was completed promptly and the staff were polite & friendly.

Very rarely do I compliment companies on the service I have received, however your staff at Brentwood deserve praise. I will without doubt recommend the garage and use it again.

"Had bit of an urgent (though self-inflicted!) tyre issue today. Phoned in the morning, then went in to your Aylesbury branch at 3pm today (Sunday 21st). Was dealt with by Sean who was the fitter, and the duty manager who's name I didn't learn.

Ok, it was very quiet at that time, but wanted to let you know that both were great. Nice blokes, good service, stock and advice and reasonable prices, compared to other 2 or 3 places I called during the morning. Also, great that you were open on a Sunday - my usual, local, tyre supplier was closed.

"On Monday I went to your centre on the Kingsbury Road in Erdington, Birmingham.

I had expected to have the front wheels balanced and maybe the tracking checked. It turned out that I had to spend £250 with replacement tyres, which I had not expected. Hopefully, they will serve me well during the coming years; I only drive about 8,000 miles a year or maybe less.

The reason for my letter is to say that I was not able to afford to give a tip because I spent much more than I had expected.

However, I would like to say that I found the young manager and the fitter splendid in the way they treated me and undertook the work; they were pleasant, courteous and efficient.

I have been to the centre on a number of occasions for various work and MOT's and on each visit I have always been treated well. So thank you for employing such good people."

"Just a quick email to say how pleased I am with the service I have received from F1 Autocentre in Chesterfield since September 2009. I bought an old BMW 518i (1987) which has needed a fair amount of work doing to it. I moved up to Chesterfield in September and found F1 Autocentre. Their customer service is excellent - everyone is unfailingly polite, helpful and really good at keeping me informed as to what is happening with my car.

I asked the staff at F1 for a full list of all the work that needed doing on my BMW and they provided it and identified the work that needed doing immediately, or fairly soon, and the work that could wait. They were prepared to spend time and effort to make sure I understood all the problems and the options for fixing them. If something went wrong with the BMW they could often fit it in at short notice at the weekend and in January, when my exhaust broke, a lot of garages might have charged me a fortune for a new exhaust. F1 had a look at it and assured me it could be repaired rather than replaced. This cost very little compared to the huge bill I had expected and I really appreciated their honesty.

Sadly my BMW has now become quite uneconomical to run so I've bought a newish VW Polo which I will be taking back to F1 for all the servicing and MOTs. If all garages offered a service like F1 in Chesterfield, it would make car maintenance a real hassle free experience.

"Just sending this email on how pleased I was with your Wolverhampton branch. Firstly, I called for a quote on 3 tyres for my wife's car and one for mine and was treated great on the phone. On the Saturday (30/1/10) I went to the centre to have the tyres fitted and was quite surprised how nice it was and how polite and nice the chaps were who worked there. Anyway, the price was great and when I saw the tyres I decided to have 2 on mine instead of one. A great quality product and great price. "I have been using Formula One Peterborough for several years now and what a great job they do - every time. A few days ago I had all the tyres changed on my car and the tracking adjusted. After a few days the car didn't feel right so I returned and Tom, Matt and the team set about making sure everything was right - and they really could not have been more helpful, accommodating and polite, even though some of it was my misunderstanding! It's a real exception to get true customer service these days in the UK - and the guys at Peterborough really do provide it.

"I wanted to send you a brief report on the service that I received at your Hedge End, Southampton centre this week. I went to the centre on Monday 4th January with a slow puncture in a tyre. The technician diagnosed a broken wheel and directed me to a local salvage yard in the hope of finding a replacement. No charge was made for this service.

I eventually ordered a new wheel from a main dealer and returned to the centre on Tuesday where the new tyre was fitted promptly and with every courtesy. A better service I couldn't have wished for. I will use your centres again and I will recommend you to my friends when the opportunity arises.

As a customer and having developed a flat tyre en-route to a 40th Birthday celebration at Abbotts Langley, I visited the centre where I saw Jamie, Centre manager and his colleague Dave, who repaired the puncture. They were the epitome of professional courtesy, with whom it was a pleasure to deal and in the light of my good experience, I will be delighted to recommend the services of Formula One Autocentres with confidence.

"I wish to say a big thank you to your Blackheath Branch.

In October I had new tyres and brakes fitted, and my wheels aligned very quickly and efficiently, in fact I was in and out in half an hour.

Since then I have had problems with my car with a vibration in the steering and took it back twice to Blackheath, where first time they kindly balanced it all for me again, 2nd time they checked it over completely, even though they were 100 % confident it was nothing they had done in the initial job.

The staff there wanted to assure both myself and them that there work was satisfactory.

Brett suggested it maybe my power steering motor, which in fact it has proved to be, which thankfully Fiat have agreed to replace free of charge.

So I just wanted to show my appreciation to the branch and hope you will send my thanks and gratitude onto them.
